Lowly background, so what?

Merry Christmas everyone (in case someone's reading). It's the season to be merry,it's Jesus' birthday after all.

I'll cut to the chase and go straight to the point. Whiles celebrating today, a mistake I made yesterday crossed my mind.My goodness,I've made tons of mistakes this year.

I began to question God, I wondered why he's asking me to do something that's not in my league? This is me oh, Dokua. People from my type of background don't get to do things like what he's asking me to do. I don't have the finesse this requires. I was very worried, my upbringing will interfere with things.

But then he reminded me, 'this is Christmas. The time when the baby boy who was to become King of Kings was born in a manger'. That's how he shut it down for me, like the boss he is.

Hard as it seems, I'll do as he says and permits. I pray you do same when he asks. The highest form of holiness is the release of your will into the hands of God. Jesus is the reason for Christmas, be like him. Be like Jesus, Joseph and Mary and release your will into God's hands.
